Throughout the year, I have participated in variaties of sports and activities in and for the school.These are some achievements that I have completed:
Zone Orienteering, Inter-Zone Orienteering, Class Dodgeball, Coca Cola Netball, Otago Maths, Franklin Mathex Competition, Writing Workshop, Class Leader, Litter monitor, Kapa Haka, Talent Quest association, P.T.A Raffle, 40 hour famine. Many more.
Otago Maths: Throughout the year, a selected group of students were chosen to compete in the Otago Maths, and I competed. There were approximately 6 tests. Each test contained 5 problem solving questions, with a time limit of 30 minutes. After all tests were completed, I achieved a excellence certificate. I was proud!
Inter-Zone Orienteering: We had arrived at One Tree Hill, as children raced through the finishing chute. The day was long, and the sun shone brightly.
At the end of the day, the Year 7 girls team had come 2nd. I was happy that we had come a placing out of the whole Auckland suburbs!
